 the
following are also of interest to members of the .network target
audience:

prospects (as defined in the .network glossary).
The Network mission is
about economic
development prospects using its resources to find
contacts. After that, prospects have
opportunities to build relationships with the contacts they
choose in order to move forward with their plans. The Network doesn't
list prospects or answer request to supply information about them see
the .network privacy
policy. The Network does
offer to publish announcements of projects along with requests for introductions
and proposals or information from contacts.
The online
publication of announcements is provided for free. And, prospects
can remain anonymous if they so choose. The Network has services
to support the publication of prospects' calls for information and/or assistance while protecting
confidential plans and activities, even online.
Prospects may have records in the Global
Registry of Contacts but they are strictly
confidential see
the answer to
the often asked question about whether we gather
contact
data in order to build and sell so-called "marketing
lists".

enterprise developers (as defined in the .network glossary). See
the answer to
the question often asked about what
enterprise developers do and you will understand that they
are prospects for resource
and service providers. Enterprise developers have
the opportunity to request the free publication of their project announcements
in the Site
Selection Directory and to
choose professional
information gathering services that, for example, protect
anonymity. All .network users have free access to the
Site Selection Directory online. In fact, The
Network is
totally free-access see
our
privacy policy.

site selectors (as defined in the .network glossary). Site
selection is a process of enterprise
development. See the answer to
the question of what
site selectors do. Site selectors, of course, become
prospects for resource
and service providers. Sometimes they are enterprise
developers. Sometimes they are hired by enterprise developers or appointed
to a site selection team.
Effective site
selection teams are made of, at least, people who are experts and/or
have experience with the human
resource/labor, transportation and real
estate needs of the
enterprises they
represent. Site selectors may work as consultants ("management
advisors") or simply as data
gatherers, in the latter case wearing the
hat of a location
data suppliers. The Network is indirectly in position
as location data supplier because its a search
resource for
site
selectors. It's an online
information service.
