... something useful and available to be drawn upon, such as the information about a place of interest that a site selector requests from a resource provider. All site selectors need such information from location data suppliers.
Resources are needed when one is engaged in purposeful or industrious activity. Before arriving at this definition you were most likely engaged online at some point using a search resource.
