... a candidate or qualified entity of opportunity — a business prospect; someone having the potential for accepting what resource and service providers have to offer as they work together to build business relationships — see the definition of business development. Prospects are potential customers or clients see initially as leads or suspects — potential prospects.

Prospects of interest to places seeking economic development are found among members of the .network target audience. They are referred to as economic development prospects.
