Economic development marketing is a managed
process through which information about opportunities and incentives
that locations have to offer is delivered to prospects, such as enterprise developers
and site selectors. Economic development practitioners as marketers
are location data suppliers. They are also resource and service suppliers.
The word customer in the above paragraph means the same thing as prospect
here. Either way they are members of the .network core user group.
