By any identiy, location profiles offer useful information about places of interest to site selectors and others who are members of the core user group of The Network. The term location data supplier identifies all among user contacts in position with information about places seeking economic development and others of interest to prospects. Area and local development representatives, however, are best known as location data suppliers. Such representatives may work out of economic development organizations, chambers of commerce, and real estate offices.

economic development profile:

... a type of data profile, especially prepared as information for prospects can use. The economic development profile may be summary presentation that stands on its own or it may be a supplement to a brochure or website. It may contain the same headings as location data elements for its various sections of information that are found in a location data package. The International Economic Development Council advocates organizing profiles using a set of site selection data standards as a guide in order for prospects to find it easier to do comparative analysis.
