GRC database:

... an comprehensive collection of individualized .network mission contact records.

We (who we are) maintain the database in order to be able to assist participants in the mission of The Network by providing them free access to resources.

A mission participant is a member of the .network core user group who at any particular time may be seeking resources and/or services. Our mission statement indicates that we are organized to assist users by providing access to information about resource and service providers, especially contact data. The database is a contact directory.

The database was originally created from information published in membership directories of various associations dedicated to real estate, enterprise development, and/or economic development. Data is gleaned today from online searches. The plethora of promotional materials we receive is important, as is networking. Useful information found in business publications feeds into the GRC. For example, there are niche magazines that report on enterprise and economic development. Their advertising focus in on commercial and industrial real estate as well as places seeking economic development.

The database is designed so that resource and service providers throughout the world who qualify as mission contacts can request that their records be established and updated for free. Likewise, there is not cost to anyone but ourselves for publishing information from the database online to accommodate searching. Online information can be enhanced with links.

Searchers have unencumbered access to the GRC online. Assistance is available for the asking in the event that links or information wanted is missing. Responses to requests are provided as a free service. Our no-dead-end policy is meant to assure that The Network is a quality product for all who are interested in enterprise and economic development.

What is a contact directory?

The Free Dictionary indicates that a directory is a reference ... containing an alphabetical or classified listing of names, addresses, and other data, such as telephone numbers, of specific persons, groups, or firm (source of quote). The Network maintains such a directory of contacts for use by mission participants. It's called the Global Registry of Contacts.

Search the Web for more information:
