geographic area ... a demarcated area (Die.Net offers an expansion
of this definition). The
Network defines the term within the context of site
selection work wherein a necessary first step for the enterprise
developer is to demarcate an area as a target location. See
step 4 in A
10-Step Guide for Site Selection and the definition of target
area for more information. |
geography of location ... the surface of the earth, its features and all that is constructed on it, in the immediate vicinity of target location. A former corporate real estate executive once said that (location, location, location is) ... only pertinent if a certain geography is targeted. The word geography apparently has a meaning similar to that of location. Consider the definition of site selection area within the context a targeted geography. |
FYI: definition of geographic area, definition of geography of location; define location geography, what is a geographic area for site selection, what is geography of location |
