... of, involving, or related to finance. A financial enterprise organizes and manages wealth resources as capital to be lend and/or invested for some profitable purpose. Use of the term wealth resources means an available supply of money or something readily convertible to money is available to be drawn upon when needed, i.e., available monetary resources.

Approach a financial institution, such as a bank, for a loan and expect to be requested to present a financial statement. The financial institution is basic to capitalism. Also, there is financial risk to be considered with the mention of organizing and running an enterprise. Financial solvency is defined as the ability to pay all just debts. A financial return is remuneration, such as money, for an effort or for providing something, such as expertise or skill as a professional. It is also yield as a capital gain on an investment.

monetary resources:

... currency or any medium of exchange convertible to money something available for use. Such resources have monetary value, which means they are worth something, for example as goods and services, when sold. (The Free Dictionary by Farlex has more information about monetary value). Resources are a supply of money or the like available to be drawn on when needed. The definition of monetary is simply that it is money or something related to it.
