... of, involving, or related to finance. A financial enterprise organizes and manages wealth resources as capital to be lend and/or invested for some profitable purpose. Use of the term wealth resources means an available supply of money or something readily convertible to money is available to be drawn upon when needed, i.e., available monetary resources.

Approach a financial institution, such as a bank, for a loan and expect to be requested to present a financial statement. The financial institution is basic to capitalism. Also, there is financial risk to be considered with the mention of organizing and running an enterprise. Financial solvency is defined as the ability to pay all just debts.
