expansion:

... a change that enlarges the operations or facilities of an enterprise; a process of enterprise development that happens at an existing site or facility in place, likewise, it may happen at a different location a the end of a site selection project ... perhaps referred to as an expansion project. Site selection is a process of enterprise development. Expansion often comes about through successful business development as well as an increase in the vitality of an economy. The expansion process leads to economic development. On the enterprise side the process it starts with expansion planning.
