Most of the graphics presented below are linked for demonstration purposes. As shown it's intended to virtually appear
as if embossed. The logo has been in continuous use since the mid-1990s
as .network in all-lowercase Arial. As
a definable term it is a neologism. A domain
name extension, dot net (.net), is the eponymous
root of .network.
... a graphic often linked
to a page of The Network introduction or its directory. In this
case, its linked
to the directory. Sometimes the button is linked to other help resources.
... buttons for moving back
to the previous page or forward to the next in a series.
Sometimes the left-pointing arrow-button is linked to take
you back to the page you came from. That's the case with
the example shown. Here the right-pointing arrow button
is linked to the top of this page where you find buttons
for navigating to
appendices G and I.

navigation guide.
The buttons and marks to their
right are organized on the .network navigation
bar.
... a graphic linked to an explanation of what to do next after selecting a item reported on a search engine results page. The search results graphic shown above is linked to an example of an explanation which simply tells you that what you searched for was on the page you found and that you should go back. It is recommended that you page-search if you do not readily see what you want on the page found. The blank .network navigation bar shown below has a linked graphic for you to select if you want details about our offer (who we are) to provide personal assistance for free in the event that there is a problem with your search results.
... the graphic shown at the top of the Google/.network Search Engine Results Page (SERP). Simply point and click on the graphic for search results help. Perhaps, the most important point is that free personal assistance is available for the asking through the .network search promise in the event that there is a problem or you are dissatisfied with search results.
