GRC online document:
Locations / Left-hand column of listings from the GRC database.
Location identities are arranged in alphabetical order; therefore you scroll down the column to find the place of interest that you searched for.
Location data suppliers registered with the GRC are offered the opportunity to arrange for a link to a website with location data or profile, or to contact data you can use to request a location package. We (who we are) offer free assistance in the event that you search, but do not find the location you want listed or if there is no link. We assist by publishing a listing for a place of interest you request. We will also temporarily establish a link or send you an email to explain what reason we have for not doing so.
Note that many location identities are published in The Network outside of the GRC. For examples see the American Management Association, New York, NY listed as a business resource and Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN listed for its Online Writing Lab as a general reference in the Enterprise and Economic Development Library. It's easy to find location listings no matter where they are since .network resources are organized for you to search for them. Try copying and pasting one of the above examples to the GRC search tool. In other words, search to see how easy it is.

GRC online document:
Contacts / Two right-hand column of listings from the GRC database.
GRC documents are organized with by location names as explained above; therefore, you should page search for information in the two right-hand columns.
One column lists the the names of people who are mission contacts using their given names or nicknames and surnames by which they are best know, e.g., Bob Glover --no prefix or suffix titles. You can search for a surname (e.g., Glover) or a combination of two or three words that make up a name.
Stop and send a priority email in the event that you do not readily find what you want. Explain what you searched for but did not find. (instructions)
A second column lists contact organizations. Notes are added. For example, real estate services not identified in a name may be added as a notation. A specific resource available through a .network website may be noted along with an organization listing.
Contacts registered with the GRC database are offered the opportunity to link directly to places online where you can find out how to get directly in touch with them.
Organizations can arrange for links directly to their websites
Request a temporary link if one is not shown or there is a problem. The service of responding to your request receives personal attention and is free. (instructions)

Search / The recommended Global Registry of Contacts search tool:
Additional search tools are available for you to move outside .network websites to query the Web. For example, see the Google/.network search engine. The directory of search resources offered through The Network is www.findmehere.com/main.htm.

GRC Search Tool has pull-down menus with settings as follows:
phrase / case-sensitive / 10 items per search results page
You can change the settings.
The case-sensitive setting is helpful when searching for terms that have upper and lower case letters. Unless you actually need to include symbols, such as asterisks, or non-alphanumeric characters, avoid their use. For example, copy and paste the phrase enterprise development & site selection resources. After obtaining search results, change the ampersand to the word and. Search again after making the change.
