Don't include quotation marks, asterisks or other non-alpha/numeric characters when using the .network library search tool. If you try to use a logogram, such as the ampersand, it is recommended that you place it at the end of your keyword combination. For example, say that you want to search for resource & service providers rather than resource and service providers. In that case, you simply search for resource & and nothing more. Although its use is discouraged by the example, searching with the ampersand may be necessary when it is part of a name, for example, the name of someone listed in a contact directory. If you want to search for a name, such as a resource title, try changing the pull-down menu settings to case-sensitive and phrase search.

This is a public library ... a resource center maintained in support of a mission. Its participants are most likely to become users of resources in most sections of the library. However, all visitors are welcomed. There are resources freely available and useful for almost any visitor, for example, a References Collection and Map Room.
