EDS is the privately owned enterprise behind The Network.

EDS is headquartered in a place named Big Canoe at the southern end of the Blue Ridge Mountains (USA) near where the borders of North Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia meet.

EDS is a small business operation&mdash:a nanocorp. It was organized in 1990. It has no ties to government in terms of operating with grants, contracts, or bailout money.

EDS is, instead, able to provide a free access resource for global enterprise and economic development because we have contributors, sponsors, and supporters, some of which are contacts registered with our GRC database. We are also fortunate to be able to operate with capital generated through technology industry investments of the 1990s.

The Internet makes it possible for EDS to do big things through its share network.

I'm Bob Glover, founder of a share network of websites dedicated to global enterprise and economic development.

The Network was introduced online in the mid-1990s through Economic Development Services, which I own.

I maintain the three websites of The Network for the purpose supporting a globally focused mission.
